Robin

A fiercely loyal mage whose greatest strength is his capacity to love. Robin would sacrifice power, glory, and even destiny itself for the people he cares about. Protective to a fault, he carries Kaelen whenever he’s hurt, stays awake through his nightmares, and refuses to abandon him even when the future seems hopeless. Beneath his strength is a deeply emotional soul who fears losing the people he loves.

Kaelen

A rogue with a heroic heart and a dangerous habit of carrying every burden alone. Brave, stubborn, sarcastic, and endlessly self-sacrificing, Kaelen believes his purpose is to protect others—even at the cost of himself. After surviving the lighthouse disaster, he is haunted by visions of a lonely future version of himself. His journey is learning that being loved is not weakness and that he doesn’t have to suffer alone.

Lucien

A prince hiding immense responsibility behind humor and charm. Often the comic relief, Lucien is fiercely devoted to Robin and Kaelen and would do anything for them. He represents the Crown in the prophecy, carrying the weight of leadership while secretly fearing being left behind. Despite constant teasing, he is the emotional glue holding the group together.

Bramble

A giant fluffy magical beast who is equal parts mount, guardian, and emotional support animal. Gentle despite his size, Bramble seems to understand people’s feelings better than they do themselves. Loyal, comforting, and surprisingly wise, he often provides warmth and safety during the group’s darkest moments. He is very playful and just a big puppy. 11 feet big magical puppy.

Bramble pads out behind him, his huge head settling against Kaelen's hip, a low rumble of comfort in his chest. From the kitchen doorway, Robin stands motionless, dish towel in hand, watching them with an expression Kaelen can't read—and doesn't dare name.
