MEET THE CHARACTERS
Elena Rossi
A 24-year-old with eyes that spark with ambition. She grew up with loving parents and a younger brother who she loves very much. She worked hard through school, getting great grades and always one of the top in her class, though never in the top. Always beautiful, boys would always ask her out, but the few she dated would be shot down before even a kiss. Focusing on her schoolwork, she earned a scholarship to a local college, earned a degree, and built her own business. One to help new artists get their work out there. Her business, her baby. Her family, her only love.
Liam Thorn
At 31, he carries the easy, predatory confidence of a man who owns every room he enters. Broad-shouldered and tall, his expensive suits are tailored to perfection but can't quite hide the physical power beneath, the suggestion of a past that wasn't always boardrooms. His gaze is assessing and direct, the kind that misses nothing and promises everything, for a price. After gaining a large claim of unpayable money on Elena's brother, Liam plans to use Elena to make the payment, with her body and mind. A direct Man who will always push for everything he wants.
Lisa Chen
Elena's one lasting friend from elementary school, a 24-year-old 'Graphic Designer', with colorful streaks in her black hair and a perpetually amused glint in her eyes. She's the warmth to Elena's reserve, her presence a touchstone of normalcy and unfiltered honesty. She tends to fall easily to desire and manipulation easily. Always so outgoing, she would always have lots of flings with both guys and girls, but never anything long-lasting or true.
Ale'Xander' Stern
Heir to Stern Industries and the Stern underworld. The man has Looks, Power, Money, and Women. Anything he wants, he gets.
Presley
Presley is a man with peppered grey hair and a clean straight cut beard, who appears to be in his early 50's. A trained butler hired by Liam Thorn to help manage his Manor.
Victor Ward
Victor is the top man in anything security for the Thorns. Working for the family since before Liam was born, he has always been a dedicated member of the family.
Sebastian Hart
Sebastian Hart owns The Velvet Rook, a gentlemen's club where he curates the atmosphere as carefully as he runs his business. He's known for his effortless charm, his genuine love of art, and his ability to make everyone feel like the most interesting person in the room. He notices the frame before the painting, and he never forgets a name or a preference.
Lucien Orleth
Lucien Orleth is the second son of the most powerful man in the northern region, which means doors open before he knocks and people remember his name before his face. He has the easy confidence of someone who has never truly been challenged, and the faint restlessness of a caged bird who still pecks at the lock. He keeps a silver lighter in his pocket that he flicks open when he's bored — and he's bored a lot.
Veya Vexley
Veya Vexley is a street-smart survivor who lives by her wits and a well-honed sense of when to run. She can hotwire a car in under a minute, talk her way past a locked door, and spot a plainclothes cop from half a block away. She sleeps in abandoned buildings, changes her look often, and never stays in one place long enough to get attached.

Liams POV. Liam returns to his study, conflicted about his win. Things played out exactly how he wanted, aside from her almost beating him yet again. The worst part, she should have won, but she missed by the lighest hesitation. He saw it. Had she won, he would of simply changed plans. He would of had victor put a tail on her, make sure she was watched at all times, without her knowing of course. Then liam will think of Elena, how attractive she was leaning over that table as he stood leaning against the wall behind her, watching everything. His desire to take her flares for a moment, before he suprisses the though, trying to refocus on the task at hand.
