Arrival at Dusk

Alex Vance steps off the Greyhound at the northern terminal, the smell of exhaust and river rot hitting him before his boots touch the asphalt. He adjusts his worn leather jacket, scanning the graffiti-scarred waiting area. A police cruiser sits with its engine running, and the driver's door opens. Another text pops up saying for your first achievement ill help you there is going to be a meeting at city club be there at 10 pm and where something nice. You can bring your girlfriend as well. Enjoy son. Alex gets worried but he quickly calls sofia and asks her to meet. She comes to the cafe in 15 minutes. Alex tells her everything. She was surprised and says but why you? Alex says I don’t know what should we do. Should we go to the chief. She says no no we can’t the text asked for you. She adds we both will go. Alex agrees hesitantly. The day passes quickly at 9 pm sofia pulls up in a car with to pick alex up. Both of them dressed well for the club. They reached the club entered separately. They both sat at the bar. Sofia says something is wrong. Alex said what. She replied this place use to be full crowded seems like a little empty today. Then some of the most notorious criminals enters the club with their men. They sat on different tables. Sofia turns to alex this is not right. Something very big is going to happen. Alex says why who are these men. She whispers. They are The Wolfs. They are the one who directly fights with the shadow. She asks tell me what the texts is there anything you didn’t tell me. Alex thinks and says yess the text says in the end The Bishop!! Sofia freezes the glass in her hand drops. Alex says what happened. She confirms did you say The Bishop. And the club door opens A man in black suit surrounded by armed men. A bishop piece tattoo on his neck. It was The Bishop. The club’s atmosphere changed. He enters. Everyone stayed quiet. Alex saw sofia who had fear on her face. She says don’t say anything and stay put. The bishop reaches the The Wolf’s table and sits. He orders a drink looking at the bar. Alex’s eyes met his. He froze and the bishop smiles. Then the bishop turns to the head of the wolfs. Blake Wolf a criminal and deadly guy. But the bishop was calm and confident. He says so what do you want blake. He answers so your master doesn’t come i asked for shadow not you. He answers saying i am here consider shadow is here. Wolf says ahhh pathetic dog of his. He replies come on blake you know if he wanted he could have killed you. Blake replies but he didn’t cause he can’t. The exchange was going on and alex asks who’s the bishop. Sofia gathers herself and tells. The bishop is the right hand man of Shadow. He’s the most dangerous guy after shadow. He does deals for him he does everything for him. He’s the face of shadow in the city. And he’s the only one who knows where shadow is where he will be he’s the only one who has seen shadow. Story goes he knows shadow from childhood they were friends and now they are like same person two bodies. Alex shuddered and asks but why the bishop will text me. She replied shusshh now I don’t know just stay silent. Suddenly the gunfight starts between the bishops and the wolfs men. Bishop walks out. As he was walking out he looks at alex and smiles. The gunfight continues sofia and alex hides behind the bar. The gunfight ends with all the wolf’s men dead along. They captured blake and takes him with them. Alex and Sofia leaves the club from back door and goes to alex’s apartment. They enters Sofia in despair sits on the bed sweating her hands on her face. Trying to accumulate what just happened.
