Chapter 2
On the next day kanato was a bit akward. He used to be straight, he date girls and know how to flirt, but despite Kanato has having feelings for all his unit members for the last two years, kanato's contract with Akira is still the first relationship he has with a guy. So he was abit akward and confuse, he doesn't know how to flirt with a guy when it doesn't involved the Incubus contract, especially when the guy id Akira, his unit members that was close like a brother, the guy who will joke dryly and telling kanato to not make it weird evertime they get too close with each other. When Akira arrived, Kanato froze but Seraph immediately hug Akira when he enter the room. Asking if he okay, did he sick yesterday, if he already eat, hibari laugh teasingly think that its cute before fist bump Akira and said that he glad Akira already back healthy. Voltaction has a meeting on the next day, it was they monthly meeting with the management to talk and plan about what they gonna do (their unit schedule and their individual schedule for the next month). Seraph's still very close during the meeting. Some director and staff for other schedule was also there, one of it is the director of reality show that Akira will record together with Hibari during the trip Kanato talk about before. Kanato and Seraph found the director is kinda annoying, he saying some unhinge things and suggest alot of inappropriate stuff for Akira and Hibari to do during the trip later, frame it as fan service to show their bond as a unit member and attract more audience. Thankfully Akira professional as ever manage to decline the inappropriate idea and change the topic without sounds rude or offend the director. During the lunch break, all voltacion member stay at the meeting room and eat their lunch while some staff and manager go to the cafetaria. The staff and voltaction member scatter around the room and pantry, chatting casually while eating lunch. The annoying director secretly cornered Akira, he talk normally about work stuff at first, but he start getting closer cornering Akira near the emergency exit door where there's no people walk by, telling Akira that he can arrange to let Akira join bigger show and gain more popularity if Akira willing to do some inappropriate stuff for him. Kanato saw Akira at the corner of his eyes, he can hear or see what happen clearly bacause the director back covering both of them. Some ugly jealousy burn inside him but kanato hold himself, know that he can't let his feelings affecting Akira's work flow, know that Akira has Always being more social and extrovert even before the incubus manifestasion, he know Akira get lonely easily and enjoy to talk alot, know that Kanato has no right controling Akira's social activity just because they have a contract now. So even when Akira seems a bit uncomfortable Kanato stay at his chair, knowing that Akira is capable of stand for himself verbally or physically (he know SPIA has trained Akira for combat even if Akira not as strong as seraph from the assassination division, he saw Akira flip hibari with a martial art movement when they go to the gym together). But what Kanato doesn't know is the conditioning that SPIA has put on Akira for years, when the touch shift from violence to a sensual touch, Akira frozed he get caught in panic attack and the training that order him to become submisive and pliant to a target make him unable to push the director away. But seraph doesn't miss any hint, the moment he hear Akira's voice waved, desperately ask the director to get away but doesn't do anything to push him away, seraph launch from his chair knocking it fall and push the table until some coffee cup on top of it spill over. Kanato saw how seraph walk so calm but so fast and without hesitation kick the director stomach until he hit the wall on the other side and cover Akira with a comforting hug. The rest of the staff immediately come hearing the commotion and ask what happen, seraph telling that the director try to touch Akira inappropriately and demand the staff to take him out immediately, the director deny the accussation and screaming back in self defense. Thankfully the staff believe in Seraph's words more than the director (especially when they can see Akira looking shock and still frozed in fear and panic), they immediately take the director out and the rest of the staff also get out giving Akira some space to calm down. Akira still shock and panic, from the feeling of the director lingering touch, from the traumatic memory it triggers, from the fact that he just cause a scene and make seraph kick a director that the scandal could probably end their career as idol and vtuber. But seraph pull Akira into a tight hug, giving him deep pressure teraphy, murmuring comforting words pulling Akira from the panic and dissociation. Hibari and kanato also stay in the room, they didn't go out, they get close to check on Akira but not hovering over, giving comfort and safety feeling that Akira need trough the proximity. When akira get calm seraph gently ask akira permission to check on his arm, while asking if the director touch him somewhere else or hurting him at all. Akira slowly get calm, he doesn't able to talk yet but his breath getting slower and deeper, as seraph request Akira slowly show his trembling hand while shake his head telling them his not hurt or in pain, but they can see the faint finger shape bruised on Akira's forearm from the director gripping Akira's arm too hard and try to pull him towards the emergency door. Seraph then took off his big winter coat and put in on Akira, he doesn't just put it on Akira's shoulder but gently guide Akira's arm to use the coat properly. hibari and kanato notice that Akira get more relaxed once seraph close the Zipper on his Coat, engulfing Akira with warm and seraph's familiar scent (seraph doesn't really like wearing perfume so Akira can smell the scent of seraph's laundry detergent combine the snow from outside). Seraph then embrace Akira's shoulder and say he will drive Akira back home. Akira try to resist at first, saying that the meeting hasn't over, but Kanato quickly say he will talk to the staff to postpone the meeting and the trip until they found a new director for the recording. Akira finally give up when hibari, who usually the most easy going and mischiveous softly ask Akira to please get back home and rest. Kanato and hibari talk about the director to the staff, they slowly get angry remember how sacred Akira was, how angry seraph was when he usually is the most calm and stoic member, the staff agree with kanato and hibari request to postpone the meeting and apolagize about the director, promise that he will not get involved in any voltaction project. Hibari ask kanato to go with him after they get out from the meeting room, say he has something to talk. They walk together to the basement parking lot, hibari suddenly beat kanato when they have no cctv around, say it for being rough with Akira, purposely aiming for place that wouldn't show (cus Akira will feel guilty if he know they fight because of him). Kanato talk defensif at first, but immediately stunned when hibari mention he saw the trace of restrainer mark on Akira's hand (when they check on his bruised from the director). Questioning if he were out of his mind for using those stuff on Akira, their Akira that jump from a touch that too soft, Akira that freezed in fear when someone reach out too close to his neck. Questioning kanato's sanity to even think about using any sex toy on 'our Akira' after everthing that SPIA has done to him. Kanato try to explain that he's not being rough, he's being carefull with every step, every tools. Of course Akira will say yes to everything, more over because he love them more than he love himself. Remind Kanato that asking Akira is useless cus he has no self preserevation. They has to be the one with self restrain, cus Akira will say yes to everything they ask especially if he half consious fucked out of his mind and overwhelm with Incubus need and overstimulated. Hibari genuenly questioning kanato's sanity for even think that its okay to use it on Akira. 'Sex toy? Really, kanato? You use sex toy on our Akira?! After all that SPIA has done to him?!!' Hibari no longer can hold his anger, he voice getting higher talk about how he should just fuck himself or go to hibari's place if he want to have sex like an animal (kanato and hibari have done one night stand before, when they was younger, stress in underworld environment, but never confess or make their romantic relationship official), told kanato its okay if he want to let out some horny shit and getting crazy with him (hibari) but not to lash out on Akira, remind them that Akira already have enough shit to deal with, Akira doesn't need kanato to join with people who have been hurting him. The words seems hitting on Kanato harder this time, hibari immediately saw the remorse on their face. Kanato immediately remember how akira get scared even from slightest touch that get too intimate from the director. Kanato softly said said sorry, swear that they never want to hurt Akira, that they just get carried away by the Incubus situation and taking advantage of the opportunity which he know was a really dirty move, but they has no courage to look at hibari in the eyes. Hibari no longer angry, he doesn't punch kanato again, he just frustrated hurt and sad for Akira. 'Have some fucking self restrain can't you?!' hibari shout desperately. All of them finally calm down when kanato m said sorry and clearly looks remorse. Hibari mess with his hair lightly, but he doesn't say its okay cus its not, he just try to remind Kanato cus hibari know how Kanato can get carried over sometimes, it happen even when they being intimate with hibari himself, remind them that while hibari has no problem being his punching bag Akira doesn't deserve to get hurt especially since he also never try to hurt them, Akira has Always so gentle always so kind that he do broke his own arms before he ever raise his hands to hurt any voltaction member. Hibari said that akira deserve to have a safe intimacy that is not painful nor fearful or forced after year of assault he has endure. When they finish with the conversation hibari told kanato to tag along with him, said he owe hibari and Seraph some explanation about Akira's incubus condition. Said seraph ask them to talk at a cafe near Akira's apartment after he get Akira back home. While hibari and kanato walk to their own vehicle (kanato drive a big motorcycle while hibari drive his own car), hibari casually said Kanato was lucky that seraph was too worry about Akira, that hibari is the one who confront him about the bruises on Akira's hand, cus Seraph's punch will hurt much more than hibari's, and he might not stop after 2 punch. Kanato get chill, remember how the director fly across the room and almost vomit some blood from just one kick from seraph, knowing their youngest member has always being the most physically prowes. But Kanato still tag along anyway, know that whatever happened at the cafe later he deserve any warning and he does owe them some explanation.
Mark Beneath His Hand
Kanato's palm is flat against Akira's bare stomach, the incubus mark a warm sigil beneath his hand. Akira is on the edge of Kanato's sofa, back arched, jaw tight, trying not to shove into the touch. 'You understand the terms,' Kanato says, not a question. His thumb circles the mark slowly, and Akira's breath catches—his body already too sensitive, already starving. 'Only us. Only me, Seraph, Hibari. You agree.' Akira's nod is barely a movement, but Kanato's fingers dig in, a warning pressure. 'Say it.' Akira's voice cracks when he says yes.
The Unseen Scar
When hibari and kanato arrived seraph was already there, wearing the winter jacket he put on Akira before (it was a cold day, it snowing outside, yet seraph has give his coat for Akira to wear until he get home safe and warm). Hibari and kanato ask about Akira and seraph tell him he drop Akira at his apartment safely. Before they talk about the director incident and the incubus, seraph ask Kanato about the restrainer mark on Akira's hands, Kanato admit it and apolagize, promise it wouldn't happen again. Seraph looks satisfied with the answer which suprise kanato cus he was expecting a beating much harder than hibari's Punch. 'Akira ask me not to punch you but i was ready to break your ribs if you going to denied it' hibari ask what Seraph mean by that, seraph than casually tell them that he saw the restrainer mark and ask Akira about it when he drop akira at his apartment, Akira tell him it was kanato but beg Seraph not to hurt him, say that he is consent to it and kanato did it with his permission. Kanato ask if seraph doesn't get mad, seraph admit he does feel angry, and dissapointed (the words hit Kanato harder than a punch), but seraph said that he also know that Akira is an adult, he can sleep with anyone he want. Seraph calmly say that even if Akira wasn't psychologically healthy and wasn't the best at putting boundries, he still a high inteligent person, so Akira must be aware to some degree about the things that could happen if he go sleep with Kanato and he still choose to do it so seraph has no intention to holding grudge about something that Akira himself already forgive (showing seraph's maturity to priorities Akira's comfort and respect Akira's decision over his own anger). Kanato heart feel like it been stab by Akira's words still trying to protect him even after kanato accidently hurt him. He also felt a pang of coldness knowing Akira's openess to seraph compare to other members, but it wasn't jealousy (no because Kanato love seraph and hibari just as much as he love Akira), it was something more like admiration. Hibari then telling seraph about the staff respond regarding the director, say that the staff has agreed to postpone the trip and re-schedule their monthly meeting to the next week. Hibari admit that he still surprised from Akira's reaction at the director today (Kanato agree with him), they know Akira is trained in self defense which is why they get worry think that the director has done something much worse when they hear Akira discomfort sound. Seraph then share to hibari and kanato story about the time when they are in SPIA. At that time seraph doesn't understand what just happen, he was just 14 years old when Akira (15 years old) suddenly came back from a mission with fancy clothes and crying at the shower all night, only after a while seraph heard that akira just done his first honey trap mission. Seraph stick with Akira all the time cus akira dissociate alot, talk to him all the time, drag him to practice or play basket, hug him when he got nightmare, but never ask question. Seraph also tell hibari and kanato how he has to guard Akira everywhere, cus some people who heard about the mission start to try take advantage of it and try to sleep with Akira, and Akira (who usually can fight back and restrain those people in seconds) just let them do whatever they want cus he has been conditioned to be submisive and not resist intimacy. Seraph got into a fight multiple times cus he need to physically chase people away. But then he will get send again and cameback in worse condition or even injured, sometimes they will send him for another mission even before he physical or mentally healed. Akira slowly loose hope about His and seraph's plan and dream of getting out from underworld business and have a clean live. Only after seraph get injured so badly in a mission (he almost dead), that Akira finally able to lock on in preparation for their escape plan. Show kanato and hibari reaction to the story, finally understand why Akira can handle a fight but turn submisive the moment a touch get intimate. Kanato and hibari also notice something else, they has notice it for a while, while kanato get akward cus he doesn't know how to flirt with a guy, Akira also get shy and akward for his own reason, and its not only to kanato, it happen with hibari, with the senior and junior who confess their crush to Akira, with the staff or anyone who get close to him even without ill intention. Akira got shy and akward because he has never has a chance to experience romance and affection before, because his traumatic past make he subconsciously think that people might try to hurt him evertime someone get close, cus he has been too busy try to survive that he literally only having first love and freak out like a teenager now in his twenties after he finally able to get out from SPIA. But Kanato notice Akira was never have that akwardness with seraph, he never push him away, he lie or hide less when seraph is the one who asking question. After observing both of them for the last 3 years Kanato can cleary see the reason, its not just because seraph has being with Akira the longest, its because how seraph has act while he is being with Akira. Kanato immediately remember when seraph kick the director the moment Akira sound uncomfortable but he doesn't taking advantage of the situation, remember how seraph ask for Akira's permission even just to check on Akira's arm for bruises, he remember how he bombard akira and with question when he was worry but never push Akira to talk when he doesn't want to, remember how he gave Akira his coat in the middle of this winter. They notice how seraph has never broke Akira's trust, even when the opportunity show itself for seraph to get advantage of Akira's condition, seraph again and again manage to prove that he is trustworthy. That's why Akira feel safe with him, even after every traumatic shit that happen in his past, Akira consious and subconsciously aware that seraph is safe, that seraph has never hurt him and never will broke his trust. They then talk about the incubus situation, kanato talk about it safer for akira to have more than one energy resource which is why he involved hibari and Seraph in the contract. Hibari and Seraph agree to join, yet seraph doesn't finish the to Amaze them, said he will join the contract when Akira get better and can soberly said that he want seraph in the contract. They continue chatting, talk about their relationship, confess their feelings for each other including Akira, talk about make the relationship official but not annouce it publicly know that the management will not allowed them to annouce something like that to the fans. the information from seraph not only new for Kanato but also for hibari, cus Akira rarely talk about the ugly part of his past that they only know something from seraph. Seraph said that akira always so kind to him behind closed door, or outside SPIA headquarter when no one can see them, he gave seraph his ransom, he makesure seraph eat and drink enough when seraph is depressed about his dying family when he first arrived at SPIA, he patch up seraph when seraph doing self harm from the depression, he saving his payment to give seraph a professional grade basketball on seraph's birthday, he take bullet to protect seraph, he secretly drink seraph's portion of performance enhancer drug to keep seraph healthy (which is why Akira has bad health condition even before the incubus manifestasion, cus he drink double dosage of SPIA drug on top of other drug and stimulant they give him when they sent Akira to a seduction mission), but the moment someone watching Akira turn ice cold and act like nothing happen. Seraph doesn't understand why Akira doit at first, but now he know akira was try to protect both of them, cus if SPIA realise they are attached and having feelings for each other than SPIA will use it agains them, they might take seraph as hostage if Akira ever refuse an order and vice versa. So when seraph understand they can't have any romantic relationship as long as they trap in SPIA, he decided to never confess until they get out and safe. both hibari and kanato fill with shock and amazed, for someone with Akira's hystory to have intercourse willingly, without force, without black mail, without the need of energy from Incubus urge and arousal, was such a massive deal. They was surprised when seraph casually say 'sure' and proceed to answer every question. Sometimes seraph close his eyes try think or to remember something, sometimes the answer is a confirmation of something kanato or hibari already on know (by spend time with them for the last 3 year). They keep talking without even ordering more food, the atmosfer is warm and casual, there's no harmful heat in seraph's voice even when he talk about sensitive matters, it gave Kanato and hibari some courage. They then ask (mostly about Akira, cus seraph wasn't as closed off as Akira so kanato and hibari has learn a lot about seraph in the last 3 years). They ask about what makes Akira uncomfortable, what drain his energy and what make him feels energized instead, what gave him a little discomfort and what can trigger a full panic. What's make Akira happy or what he hate but will never admit it. They ask alot of things and Seraph answer it. Seraph told them that Akira enjoy good food, that's why he talk about it a lot on stream even when he rarely eat in big portion. Akira feel bad about being the weak link in music field (cus he the least experienced and has the least talented), but he really happy when they invite him for a music project like song or dance cover (even though he never invite someone by himself cus he doesn't feel worth of the trouble). Akira like playing group games cus he enjoy spend time in team, but he get headache from dynamic camera movement if play fps for too long (that's why he only play casual and non competitive most of the time). Akira bad with crowds in narrow space (like elevator or trians) but he can handle big crowd as long as he can get enough personal space (that's why Akira bought a car first even though he has no money to buy a proper bed on their early days after escape from SPIA, thats why Akira could enjoy the nijifest with thousand of fans without problem cus they are in respectful distance). Akira like trying new things and actually enjoy physical activities but he has no self preserevation so they has to watch out so that he doesn't over doing it or get injured.
