The Door

Continue to the next chapter, make it 12000 words or longer and more detailed. Expand the interaction, make more dialogues and interaction between characters. Make it more show than tell. Write their interaction in more detailed. Make it more subtle, more show than tell story telling with intense emotional moments and atmosfer. Seraph take over hibari's position cus Hibari need rest, he Akira naturally shift to hug seraph and kanato help Hibari walk to the bedroom to have proper sleep. Kanato stay with hibari for a while, murmuring praises and giving soft kiss before saying good night and i love you and checking in seraph. Seraph say they should bring Akira back to Akira's apartment so that both hibari and Akira can rest properly. Seraph carefully carry Akira to the car without peeling the hug while kanato Drive them to Akira's apartment. Kanato make sure seraph and Akira has everything they need before get out to buy some grocery (kanato can't cook, but he know Akira doesn't like eating take out when he sick and hibari promise to come after he sleep so kanato think he should at least buy some food ingredient). When kanato get back, he heard a soft noises from Akira's bedroom. It was Seraph talking in whisper, asking permission to Akira to touch him. Akira was drained and spiritually hungry, the hunger make him sensitive and moan from the slightest touch, but the fever and the nightmare make Akira unable to do sex for the last three days even though sex is the fastest way to do energy transfer. But seraph know Akira need the feeding, that's why when Akira silently nod give him the permission, seraph started touching Akira under his clothes. Seraph start touching Akira's nipple gently and pumping Akira's cock, constantly murmuring comforting words and kissing the back of Akira's neck when Akira whine or show any discomfort or fear, constantly comforting Akira While pushing Akira to a climax. Akira whine and moan sexily when e come, begging to seraph for release and seraph suddenly remember that Akira can't cum without his permission and immediately gave it, let Akira cum and sigh in relief when he received a hug amount of spiritual energy from seraph, much more and faster than he received from just kiss and hug. Kanato carries the grocery bags up the stairs, replaying the morning's quiet victory—Akira's smile, the way his hand had gripped Hibari's shirt. At the door, he hears it: a low, trembling moan, then Akira's voice, wrecked and desperate, whispering 'Serao—please.' Kanato's hand freezes on the handle, the plastic bags cutting into his fingers, his heart slamming as he stands there, caught between the need to protect and the knowledge that this is something he shouldn't witness. (Kanato look at both of his boyfriends in silence, relief when Akira finally stop hungry and able to sleep peacefully and admire seraph sexy focus face when he know how hard it is to inhale Akira's incubus pheromones without fucking Akira and focus on Akira's need and comfort instead). Seraph slowly lay Akira down on the bed, Akira finally stop crying and sleep peacefully, his tail is gone mean he is not starving anymore. Seraph take of Akira's clothes, clean up Akira's body, and put on a new comfortable pajama from Akira's wardrobe. When seraph walk out from the bedroom, kanato pull him to a hug and say thank you and i love you, praising seraph and telling him how hot he is and how cool he is when he was helping Akira. Seraph's who was stressed smile under the affection shower. He kiss kanato on the lips and say i love you too. Then he hug Kanato again and softly ask, 'kanato.. can i..' kanato was in awe, unlike Hibari who will pin him on the bed without warning (kanato doesn't complain cus he also like to do the same), seraph was asking permission. He always asking permission, not only with Akira, not only with hibari. Kanato's heart warm with love, he remember this is what makes him fall in love with seraph back in high school, the fact that this big strong guy could literally take wathever he want but always choose to be gentle, to as question, to ask permission, because he love Kanato and hibari and Akira so much that he care so much about their comfort make kanato feel loved. Its the discipline and care born from love is what makes kanato admire seraph's so much. 'of course you can.. do whatever you want.. im yours kanato say as he kiss seraph intensely. He know what seraph's need, there's no one who doesn't getting aroused after hearing Akira's moan and help him having release, kanato know seraph has been holding it for Akira, focus on what Akira need without demand a payment when Akira clearly not in condition to do sex. But kanato can do it, and he Will take care of Seraph just like he take care of hibari and Akira. Additional information: the conversation has comedic moment and has heavy emotional moment. Seraph still mention Akira as 'Nagi-chan' when he talk about Akira, and it always make Kanato's friends stunned in weird way and in endearing way how the big stoic guy like seraph calling Akira with such a cute nick name. All kanato's friends understand Japanese, they just talk in English most of the time. Akira often slip up to speak Japanese during vulnerable moment (when he really happy, sleepy, or scared) because it was his native language during SPIA, which is kinda cute cus he Always sounds more relaxed and less professional when he talk in Japanese. Hibari is 24 years old (the oldest in voltaction), Akira is also 24 years old, Seraph and kanato is 23 years old (seraph is the youngest). Kanato's friends also 23 years old but they on the same grade with Akira and hibari, one of them is in the same class with Akira and hibari. Akira is 174 cm tall and weight 60 kg, kanato is 177 cm and weight 70 kg, hibari is 183 cm and weight 68 kg, seraph is 187 and weight 76 kg. All of them have fit body with athletic muscle but Akira and hibari has more lean build while Kanato and Seraph has more buff build. Make the scene linger longer, develop the dialogues and banter, make it intimate and full of emotion. Kanato and his friends has more casual dynamic. hibari has golden retriever energy and very friendly personality that sometimes people forget that he was the oldest one on voltaction. Kanato call Akira, seraph, and hibari with the name without honorifics. Seraph is the only one who call Akira as 'nagi-chan', hibari and kanato call Akira as 'akira'. Akira call hibari as 'Tarai'. Akira call seraph as 'Serao'. Kanato's friends calling Akira as 'Akira-kun' or 'akira-san'. Kanato call hibari as 'hibari' or 'hiba' on intimate moments. Kanato has blonde hair, seraph has pink hair with red strikes, hibari has purple hair, Akira has black hair. Akira has the deepest voice between the four of them which make him usually sounds older than he actually are, which is why it sound wrong every time they hear Akira whine or whimper from pain or fear when his voice usually so confident and comforting. Kanato and Seraph has higher voice (seraph voice is the highest between four of them), hibari has wide range (he is very talented singer after all), hibari can hit high note but also can be rasp on rock song or low like when he tease his fans, but Akira's voice still deeper than hibari. Akira has more casual and manly behavior on daily basis.

The morning light had shifted from grey-gold to something closer to white by the time Hibari's breathing evened out. Kanato watched the rise and fall of his chest from where he sat, legs crossed, back against the wall, and felt the weight of the night settle into his bones like lead. Hibari had been running on fumes for hours—feeding Akira through proximity, changing the IV, holding him through the fever dreams. The dark circles under his eyes had taken on a bruised quality, and his head kept dipping forward before he caught himself.

"Hibari." Kanato's voice came out softer than he intended. "You need to actually sleep."

Hibari blinked at him, sluggish, and tightened his arm around Akira's sleeping form. "I'm fine. He's—"

"He's stable." Seraph's quiet voice cut through the room. He had shifted closer during the night, close enough that his knee nearly touched Akira's shoulder. "The fever's dropping. I can take over."

It wasn't a suggestion. Kanato watched the way Seraph's pale eyes held Hibari's, patient and immovable, and something in his chest twisted with a familiar ache. Seraph had a way of making his care sound like a statement of fact. No pressure, no guilt—just *I am here, and this is what I can do.*

Hibari's jaw tightened. "I don't want to leave him."

"You're not leaving him." Kanato pushed himself up, knees cracking, and crossed the small room to crouch beside them. "You're sleeping so you can actually be useful later. Akira's going to wake up hungry and confused, and you're going to need to be the one who makes him eat something." He reached out, brushing his fingers through Hibari's messy hair. "You can't do that if you're dead on your feet."

Hibari made a sound low in his throat—half protest, half exhaustion—and Kanato felt his heart crack open a little wider. This was the man who had held Akira through the worst of the fever, who had fed him from his own body until his reserves ran dry, who had threatened to destroy Kanato's entire gaming setup if he ever hurt Akira again. The same man who was now blinking up at him with the trust of someone who had decided, years ago, that Kanato was worth loving despite knowing exactly what he was capable of.

"I'll take care of him," Seraph said. And then, because he was Seraph, he added: "I promise."

Hibari's gaze flickered between them, and something in his shoulders finally loosened. He pressed a kiss to Akira's temple, lingering for a moment, then carefully—so carefully—began to extricate himself from the tangle of blankets and limbs.

The moment Hibari's weight left the floor, Akira shifted. His brow furrowed, a small sound escaping his throat, and his hand reached out blindly for warmth that was no longer there.

Seraph moved before Kanato could. He slid into the space Hibari had vacated, gathering Akira against his chest with a gentleness that made Kanato's breath catch. Akira's hand found Seraph's shirt, fisted in the fabric, and his face smoothed out as he pressed his nose into the curve of Seraph's neck.

"Serao," Akira murmured, barely conscious, his voice a rasp of sound. "Don't go."

Seraph's arms tightened around him. "I'm not going anywhere, Nagi-chan."

Kanato watched the way Akira relaxed into the hold, the way his breathing evened out against Seraph's chest, and felt something complicated twist through him. Jealousy, maybe. Gratitude. Love so sharp it hurt. Akira had chosen Hibari last night, had turned away from Kanato's offer of spiritual feeding, and Kanato still felt the sting of it—but watching Seraph hold him now, watching the way Akira's body knew exactly where to find safety, he understood. It wasn't about rejecting him. It was about Akira needing something Kanato couldn't give him in that moment. Gentleness without expectation. Touch without demand.

"Come on." Kanato reached down, offering Hibari his hand. "Let me get you to bed."

Hibari took it, pulling himself up with a groan, and let Kanato guide him out of the room. The hallway was dim, the apartment quiet in that particular way that felt like the whole world was holding its breath. Kanato's hand found the small of Hibari's back, steadying him as they walked.

"You're a good leader, you know." Hibari's voice was slurred with exhaustion. "Always taking care of everyone."

Kanato snorted. "I'm a disaster who accidentally fell in love with three people and somehow convinced them to love me back."

"Yeah." Hibari's grin was soft, almost sleepy. "That's what I said. Good leader."

They reached the bedroom, and Kanato guided Hibari to the bed with a care he usually reserved for Akira. He pulled back the covers, helped Hibari sit down, and knelt to untie his shoes. The gesture felt natural—taking care of this man who took care of everyone else—and when Hibari's hand landed on his head, fingers threading through his hair, Kanato stilled.

"You're going to wear yourself out too," Hibari murmured. "You haven't slept either."

"I'll sleep when you're settled." Kanato pulled off the second shoe and set it aside, then looked up at Hibari through his lashes. "Let me take care of you for once."

Hibari's expression softened, something young and vulnerable flickering across his features. He reached out, cupping Kanato's jaw, and Kanato leaned into the touch like a plant turning toward sunlight.

"You're too good to me," Hibari said.

"Impossible." Kanato turned his head, pressing a kiss to Hibari's palm. "I'm not good enough for you. None of us are."

Hibari laughed, quiet and warm. "Nagi would disagree."

Kanato's heart did something complicated at the nickname. He pulled himself up, settling onto the edge of the bed, and gently pushed Hibari back against the pillows. "He's delirious. His opinion doesn't count."

"He's honest," Hibari corrected, catching Kanato's wrist. "You should hear what he says when he's like this. All the things he's too scared to say when he's awake."

Kanato's throat tightened. "What does he say?"

Hibari's eyes were half-closed, his grip loosening as sleep pulled at him. "He says he's happy. That he never thought he'd get to have this." A pause. "He says he loves us. All of us. Even when he can't say it out loud."

The words hit Kanato like a physical blow. He sat there, frozen, watching Hibari's face relax into sleep, and felt the weight of everything they'd been through settle over him. The recording. The drug. The way he'd hurt Akira without meaning to. The way Akira had forgiven him anyway.

"I love him too," Kanato whispered, though Hibari was already asleep. "I love all of you."

He pressed a kiss to Hibari's forehead, then another to his temple, letting his lips linger against warm skin. "Good night, Hiba," he murmured. "I love you. Sleep well."

Hibari made a small sound, turning into the pillow, and Kanato watched him for a moment longer before pulling the covers up to his chin. The urge to stay was strong—to curl up beside him and let sleep take them both—but there was another man in the next room who needed watching over, and a third who was probably holding him right now with the kind of desperate gentleness that made Kanato's chest ache.

He slipped out of the bedroom, closing the door behind him with a soft click, and made his way back to where Seraph sat with Akira in his arms.

Seraph looked up as he entered, and Kanato was struck, as he often was, by how different this man was from the person his reputation suggested. The broad shoulders, the hands that had been trained to kill, the pale eyes that missed nothing—all of it softened when Akira was in his arms. He was holding Akira like something precious, like something that might shatter if he held too tight, and the tenderness in his face made Kanato's breath catch.

"He's asleep," Seraph said quietly. "A real sleep, I think. Not just the fever."

Kanato crouched down beside them, reaching out to brush a strand of dark hair off Akira's forehead. The skin beneath his fingers was cooler than before, closer to normal, and he felt some of the tension in his shoulders ease. "Hibari's out too. I put him in the bedroom."

Seraph nodded, his gaze dropping to Akira's face. "We should bring him home."

"Home?"

"His apartment." Seraph's thumb traced a slow circle on Akira's back. "He'll be more comfortable there. And Hibari can sleep properly without worrying about waking him."

Kanato considered this. The apartment was Akira's space, filled with his things, his smells, his memories. It was also where he had collapsed, where the fever had taken hold, where the sealed medical folder sat unread on his desk. But Seraph was right—Akira always did better in his own space, surrounded by the familiar.

"Okay," Kanato said. "Let's get him ready."

It took them a while to pack up the IV supplies and gather Akira's things. Seraph moved with a careful efficiency that Kanato found himself mirroring, folding blankets and checking the IV line, making sure everything was secure before they attempted to move him. When it came time to actually lift Akira, Seraph did it without hesitation—sliding one arm under his knees and the other around his back, cradling him against his chest like he weighed nothing.

Akira stirred, his brow furrowing, and his hand found Seraph's shirt again. "Serao?"

"I'm here," Seraph murmured. "I'm taking you home, Nagi-chan. Just rest."

Akira's eyes fluttered, not quite opening, and he made a small sound of acknowledgment before settling back against Seraph's chest. His tail, Kanato noticed, was still wrapped around Seraph's arm—a sign of hunger that hadn't been addressed, a need that was still waiting to be met.

Kanato's stomach dropped. He knew what that meant. He knew what Akira needed, and he knew that Akira had rejected his offer to provide it. The rejection still stung, even though he understood it. Akira had chosen Hibari, had needed touch that didn't come with the weight of Kanato's past mistakes attached to it.

He pushed the thought aside as they made their way outside. The morning air was cool and clean, carrying the scent of rain that had fallen sometime in the night. Kanato unlocked the car and opened the back door, watching as Seraph carefully settled Akira into the back seat, still holding him close.

"Do you want me to drive?" Kanato asked.

Seraph shook his head, climbing in beside Akira and pulling him against his side. "I'll stay with him. You drive."

Kanato nodded and slid into the driver's seat, checking the rearview mirror. Seraph had arranged Akira so his head was pillowed on Seraph's thigh, and his hand was resting on Akira's back, a constant, grounding presence. The sight made something warm bloom in Kanato's chest.

The drive to Akira's apartment was quiet, broken only by the soft sound of Akira's breathing and the occasional direction from Seraph. Kanato kept his eyes on the road, but he couldn't help glancing in the mirror every few seconds, checking that Akira was still okay, that the fever wasn't spiking, that Seraph was still holding him the way he needed to be held.

When they finally pulled up to the apartment building, Kanato killed the engine and sat there for a moment, listening to the silence. Then he got out, opened the back door, and helped Seraph lift Akira out of the car.

"I'll get the door," Kanato said, already moving toward the entrance.

The apartment was exactly as Akira had left it—clean, sparse, with the faint scent of sandalwood and something that was purely Akira. The sealed medical folder sat on the desk, untouched, and Kanato forced himself to look away from it as he led the way to the bedroom.

Seraph laid Akira down on the bed with that same careful gentleness, and Akira immediately curled toward the warmth, reaching for something that wasn't there. His tail flicked, curling and uncurling, and a small sound of distress escaped his throat.

"Shh," Seraph murmured, climbing onto the bed beside him. "I'm here. I'm not going anywhere."

He gathered Akira against his chest, and Akira settled almost immediately, his face pressing into the curve of Seraph's neck. His tail wrapped around Seraph's arm again, and his breathing evened out into something closer to peace.

Kanato stood in the doorway, watching them, and felt the weight of everything he couldn't fix pressing down on his shoulders. Akira was still hungry. The tail was proof of that. And the fever had made it impossible for him to feed the way he needed to—sex was the fastest way to transfer energy, but Akira was too weak, too fragile, too lost in fever dreams to consent to that kind of intimacy.

He couldn't fix it. He could only make sure Akira had everything he needed to recover, and hope that when the fever broke, they could find a way to address the hunger that wouldn't hurt him.

"I'm going to run out and get some groceries," Kanato said, his voice low. "Hibari's going to want to cook when he wakes up, and Akira doesn't like takeout when he's sick."

Seraph looked up, his pale eyes meeting Kanato's. "You don't have to—"

"I want to." Kanato's voice came out firmer than he intended. "Let me do this. Let me take care of you both."

Seraph's expression softened, something grateful flickering across his features. "Okay. Thank you."

Kanato crossed the room, leaning down to press a kiss to Seraph's forehead. "I'll be back soon. Call me if anything changes."

"I will."

Kanato lingered for a moment, watching the way Seraph's hand moved in slow circles on Akira's back, the way Akira's body had relaxed into his hold. Then he forced himself to turn away, to grab his keys, to walk out the door.

The grocery store was a blur of fluorescent lights and familiar aisles. Kanato moved on autopilot, grabbing vegetables and rice and the ingredients for the miso soup that Hibari always made when someone was sick. He grabbed eggs and tofu and the good brand of soy sauce that Akira preferred, and he was reaching for a bag of ginger when his phone buzzed.

It was a message from Seraph: *He's awake. Fever's down. He's asking for you.*

Kanato's heart lurched. He threw the ginger into his basket and headed for the checkout, his mind already racing. Akira was awake. Akira was asking for him. The rejection from last night suddenly felt like a lifetime ago, and all he could think about was getting back to the apartment, getting back to Akira, making sure he was okay.

The drive back was faster than the drive there, and Kanato was practically jogging up the stairs with the grocery bags cutting into his fingers. He reached the door and fumbled with the key, his heart pounding, and then he heard it—a sound that stopped him cold.

A low, trembling moan. Akira's voice, wrecked and desperate, whispering: "Serao—please."

Kanato's hand froze on the handle. The plastic bags cut into his fingers, but he barely felt them. His heart was slamming against his ribs, and he stood there, caught between the need to protect and the knowledge that this was something he shouldn't witness.

He should go. He should turn around, give them privacy, wait until it was over. But his feet wouldn't move, and the sounds coming from the bedroom were pulling at something primal in his chest.

Another moan, higher this time, edged with something that sounded like pain. And then Seraph's voice, low and steady, murmuring words Kanato couldn't quite make out.

Kanato's grip on the grocery bags tightened. He knew what was happening in there. He knew what Akira needed, and he knew that Seraph was giving it to him—carefully, gently, the way he always did. The knowledge didn't stop the jealousy from twisting through him, sharp and ugly. It didn't stop the fear that Akira might have chosen Seraph over him, might have decided that Kanato's touch was no longer welcome.

But it also didn't stop the relief, the quiet understanding that Akira was finally getting what he needed, even if Kanato couldn't be the one to give it to him.

He set the grocery bags down on the floor, slowly, carefully, and leaned his forehead against the door. He could hear Seraph's voice now, low and soothing, and Akira's breathing, ragged and uneven. The sounds were intimate in a way that made Kanato feel like an intruder, but he couldn't bring himself to leave.

He stayed there, listening, his heart aching with a love so fierce it terrified him.

When the sounds finally quieted, when Akira's breathing evened out into something that sounded like sleep, Kanato let out a breath he hadn't realized he was holding. He picked up the grocery bags and walked into the apartment, his footsteps deliberately loud, giving them time to compose themselves.

Seraph was emerging from the bedroom as he entered the kitchen. His hair was slightly mussed, his shirt rumpled, and there was a flush on his cheeks that Kanato had never seen before. He looked up as Kanato entered, his pale eyes wide, and something passed between them—a shared understanding, a silent acknowledgment of what had just happened.

"He's asleep," Seraph said, his voice rough. "He finally stopped crying."

Kanato set the grocery bags down on the counter and crossed the room in three quick strides, pulling Seraph into his arms. Seraph stiffened for a moment, then melted into the embrace, his face pressing into Kanato's shoulder.

"Thank you," Kanato murmured into his hair. "Thank you for taking care of him."

Seraph's arms came up around him, holding on tight. "I didn't—I mean, he needed—"

"I know." Kanato pulled back, cupping Seraph's face in his hands. "You did exactly what he needed. You were gentle, and you were patient, and you gave him what I couldn't."

Seraph's throat worked, his gaze dropping. "I didn't want to hurt him. He was so fragile, and I—"

"You didn't hurt him." Kanato's thumb traced the line of Seraph's jaw. "You helped him. You saved him. And I'm so fucking grateful I don't have the words for it."

Seraph's eyes glistened, and he ducked his head, pressing his forehead against Kanato's. "I was so scared," he whispered. "He was in so much pain, and I could feel him starving, and I didn't know if I was doing it right—"

"You were perfect." Kanato pressed a kiss to his forehead, then another to his temple, then one to the corner of his mouth. "You're always perfect, Sera. You take care of everyone so carefully, and you never ask for anything in return."

Seraph made a small sound, his hands fisting in Kanato's shirt. "I love you," he said, his voice cracking. "I love you so much."

Kanato's heart swelled. "I love you too." He kissed him then, soft and slow, pouring all the gratitude and love and desperate relief into the press of his lips against Seraph's. "I love you so much it scares me sometimes."

Seraph kissed him back, a small, broken sound escaping his throat. When they finally pulled apart, his cheeks were flushed and his eyes were bright, and Kanato felt something settle in his chest—a quiet certainty that everything was going to be okay.

"You're so hot, you know that?" Kanato said, a grin tugging at his lips. "The way you handled that, staying so focused on Akira's needs even though you must have been dying from the pheromones—it was incredible. You're incredible."

Seraph's flush deepened, and he ducked his head. "I wasn't—I mean, I was just—"

"You were amazing," Kanato insisted. "You're always amazing. And I'm going to spend the rest of my life telling you that until you believe it."

Seraph looked up at him, his expression soft, and a small smile tugged at the corner of his mouth. "You're ridiculous," he said.

"Ridiculously in love with you," Kanato agreed, pressing another kiss to his lips. "Now come here. I need to hold you for a minute."

He pulled Seraph into another hug, and Seraph went willingly, his arms wrapping around Kanato's waist. They stood there in the kitchen, holding each other, the grocery bags forgotten on the counter, the quiet sound of Akira's breathing drifting in from the bedroom.

After a long moment, Seraph pulled back, his gaze dropping. "Kanato… can I…"

Kanato's breath caught. He knew what Seraph was asking. He could see it in the way Seraph's eyes kept flicking toward the bedroom, in the tension in his shoulders, in the way his hands were trembling just slightly. Seraph had been holding himself back for Akira, focusing on Akira's needs without asking for anything in return, and now that Akira was finally asleep, the need was crashing over him.

And Seraph was asking permission. Not demanding, not taking—asking. Because that was who he was, who he had always been. This big, strong man who could take whatever he wanted but always chose to be gentle, to ask questions, to make sure everyone around him was comfortable before he ever thought about his own needs.

It was the thing Kanato had fallen in love with back in high school, the thing that still made his heart ache every time he saw it. The discipline and care born from love, the way Seraph loved so fiercely and so gently that it made Kanato want to wrap him up and protect him from the world.

"Of course you can," Kanato said, his voice rough. "Do whatever you want. I'm yours."

He kissed Seraph then, intense and hungry, pouring everything he felt into the press of his lips. Seraph made a sound against his mouth, his hands fisting in Kanato's shirt, and Kanato pulled him closer, walking him backward until his back hit the wall.

"You were so good," Kanato murmured against his lips. "So patient, so careful. You took care of him when I couldn't, and now let me take care of you."

Seraph's breath hitched. "Kanato—"

"I've got you." Kanato kissed him again, slower this time, savoring the taste of him. "I've got you, Sera. Let me make you feel good."

Seraph's hands came up to frame Kanato's face, holding him like something precious. "I love you," he whispered. "I love you, I love you, I—"

Kanato swallowed the words with another kiss, his hands sliding down Seraph's sides, settling on his hips. He could feel the heat of him through his clothes, the tension in his muscles, the way he was holding himself back even now, waiting for permission, waiting for Kanato to take the lead.

"You don't have to ask," Kanato murmured, his lips trailing down Seraph's jaw. "You never have to ask me. I'm yours, Sera. All of me."

Seraph made a sound that was almost a sob, and Kanato kissed it away, guiding him toward the bedroom. The door swung open, and they tumbled inside, a tangle of limbs and desperate kisses and the quiet sound of Akira's breathing from the other room.

Kanato pushed Seraph down onto the bed, climbing over him, and looked down at him with all the love he had in his heart. Seraph's cheeks were flushed, his hair mussed, his chest heaving, and he was looking up at Kanato like he was the center of the universe.

"You're so beautiful," Kanato said, and meant it. "You're the most beautiful thing I've ever seen."

Seraph's eyes glistened, and he reached up, pulling Kanato down into another kiss. "I love you," he whispered against Kanato's lips. "I love you so much."

Kanato kissed him back, slow and deep, and let himself sink into the warmth of his embrace. He could hear Akira's quiet breathing in the other room, could picture him sleeping peacefully now that his hunger had been fed, and the knowledge that they were all safe, all together, all loved, filled him with a joy so fierce it made his chest ache.

He pressed a kiss to Seraph's forehead, then his nose, then the corner of his mouth. "I love you," he murmured. "I love you, and Akira, and Hibari. I love this life we're building together, even when it's hard, even when it hurts."

Seraph's hand came up to cup his cheek. "We're going to be okay," he said. "All of us. I believe that now."

Kanato smiled, pressing his forehead to Seraph's. "Yeah," he said. "I think we will."

And in the quiet of the bedroom, with the morning light streaming through the curtains and Akira's soft breathing a constant reminder of what they were fighting for, Kanato let himself believe it too.
