The fourth time they met, there was no restaurant, no casual invitation.
Isaac simply texted her:
“My apartment. Tonight. I need to see you.”
Addy stood outside his door for a long moment, her heart hammering in her chest. She knew this meeting would be different. The tension between them had been building for days — every look, every touch, every whispered word had pushed them closer to the edge.
When she knocked, Isaac opened the door almost immediately. He looked intense tonight — dark shirt unbuttoned at the top, hair slightly messy, eyes stormy and focused only on her.
He didn’t say hello. He just pulled her inside, closed the door, and backed her gently against it.
“Addy,” he said, his voice low and rough. “I can’t keep doing this halfway anymore.”
They stood close, almost touching, the air thick with everything unsaid. Isaac reached up and brushed his fingers along her jaw, tilting her face up so she had to meet his eyes.
“I’m not like the other guys here,” he continued quietly. “I don’t do simple. I don’t do safe. When I want something — when I want someone — I go all in.” His thumb stroked her lower lip slowly. “And I want you. More than I’ve wanted anyone in a long time.”
Addy’s breathing grew shallow. She could feel the heat of his body so close to hers, the way his chest rose and fell. Her nipples had already hardened against her bra, and a deep, aching pulse had started between her legs.
“What are you hiding, Isaac?” she whispered, her voice trembling slightly. “I can feel it. There’s something darker behind all this control.”
He was silent for a long moment. Then he finally spoke, his words careful but honest.
“I’ve done things I’m not proud of,” he admitted. “Things that scared people away. I’m not gentle. I’m not easy. When I care about someone, I want all of them — their body, their mind, their secrets.” His eyes darkened. “And I want to give them all of me in return. No holding back.”
Addy’s heart raced. Part of her wanted to run. To go back to her quiet, safe life where no one could hurt her.
But another part — the part that had been burning since the first time he looked at her — wanted to step into the fire.
Isaac stepped even closer, pressing his body lightly against hers. She could feel how hard he already was through his pants, the thick length pressing against her lower belly. His hand slid down to her waist, gripping her firmly.
“I’m giving you a choice tonight,” he said, his breath warm against her ear. “You can walk away right now. Stay safe. Keep your distance. Or…” His lips brushed the shell of her ear. “You can stay. Let me show you what it feels like to be wanted so completely it scares you.”
Addy closed her eyes for a second, feeling the war inside her. Safety versus this intense, magnetic pull that made her body ache and her mind spin.
When she opened her eyes again, the decision was already made.
She reached up, slid her hands into his hair, and pulled him down to her.
She kissed him.
It wasn’t soft or hesitant. Addy kissed Isaac with all the confusion, desire, and need that had been building inside her for days. Her lips moved against his hungrily, tongue sliding into his mouth, tasting him deeply. A soft moan escaped her as he groaned into the kiss and kissed her back just as fiercely.
Isaac’s hands gripped her hips hard, pulling her flush against him. He pressed her back against the door, his body covering hers. The kiss grew hotter, wetter, more desperate. His tongue stroked hers in a rhythm that made her thighs clench together. She could feel his hard cock throbbing against her through their clothes.
When they finally broke apart, both were breathing heavily. Addy’s lips were swollen, her cheeks flushed, and her eyes bright with arousal.
Isaac rested his forehead against hers, his voice rough and low.
“You’re choosing me,” he said, almost like he couldn’t believe it. His hands tightened on her hips. “Good. Because I wasn’t sure I could let you walk away.”
Addy smiled shakily, her fingers still tangled in his hair.
“I’m scared,” she whispered honestly. “But I don’t want to run anymore.”
Isaac’s eyes burned with heat and something deeper — possession, desire, and a hint of that hidden darkness.
“Then don’t run,” he murmured, brushing his lips against hers again, softer this time but full of promise. “Stay with me tonight. Let me show you exactly how much I want you.”
He kissed her once more — slow, deep, and full of dark promise.
Addy melted into it, knowing she had just stepped into the unknown.
And for the first time, she wasn’t afraid of falling.
