Counting Down

Warren's phone lights up on the nightstand—a single word from David: 'Counting.' Claire picks it up before he can, reading it over, her jaw tight. She turns the screen toward him, the photo of Willow still visible beneath the notification. 'He's counting on you coming back,' she says, and slides the cage key out of her pocket, holding it between them. 'So let's decide right now who you're counting on.'
